The unknown
history of Ukraine

We were approached by a historian enthusiast who has been researching international archives and uncovering previously unknown facts about the history of Ukraine since 2014. The client needed a website where he could publish his discoveries for the general public.

After familiarizing ourselves with the client's materials, we realized we were dealing with a treasure.

His research fills historical gaps and thoroughly debunks the historical fakes propagated by Russian propaganda.

We decided to show how rich Ukraine's history is in events, while highlighting the numerous undiscovered gaps we aim to fill.

We created an interactive timeline featuring all the known events and gaps in the history of Ukraine, from the appearance of the first humans, up until the present day. But the main feature of this timeline is that it is not static – it is alive and changes with every new historical discovery.

We extended the idea to the project's logo, where the letter H itself seems to be formed by gaps and events.

This, along with the logo animation, makes the main symbol dynamic, just like history itself.

All project materials are unified under a single visual concept - using images of solid and empty spheres, symbolizing significant events and gaps in history, respectively.

Heroes about Heroes

There are many gaps in the historical memory of Ukrainians. Perhaps, in part, that’s why tragic events of the past keep repeating with our people over and over again.

To fill these gaps and emphasize the relevance of history, we have launched a special project called “Heroes about Heroes” – modern heroes (the Armed Forces of Ukraine, paramedics, volunteers) tell stories about heroes of the past (Cossacks).

It is particularly touching and inspiring that these heroes are currently on the front lines, defending the country against the enemy, and yet they have found time to help us popularize the true history of Ukraine.
